Advocate Mrs. Rinku Smitesh Valanju founded R V Legal in 2017, though foundation of the firm was laid down much early in her career when she stepped into the Securities Market holding management position in the Arbitration and Listing Department of BSE Limited. Before stepping into practice. Mrs. Valanju was held senior managerial position with the erst-while Networth Stock Broking (Now known as Monarch Networth Capital).
In addition to completing her LL.B. from Mumbai University, Mrs. Valanju has acquired in-depth knowledge by studying post graduate management degree in finance from prestigious Weliangkar Institute of Management, Mumbai and post management degree in Securities Laws from Government Law College, Mumbai. She has understanding of foreign Securities Market, she has acquired various certificate after completing her competitive exams conducted by Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), USA.
Over the years, Mrs. Valanju transformed her start-up into a boutique law firm that caters to complex regulatory and criminal disputes relating to Securities Market Laws. Moreover, Mrs. Valanju also shoulders the practice as an arguing counsel for the firm which is a rare combination for an Advocate on Record in Mumbai.
Mrs. Valanju has over two decades of experience in defending the interest of trading members, constituents, corporates, HNI’s and even stock exchanges. She has successfully defended an array of clients before Adjudicating Officers of SEBI, SEBI Special Courts, Arbitral Tribunals of BSE/ NSE, Securities Appellate Tribunal, Bombay High Court and Supreme Court of India.
Mrs. Valanju has appeared and mastered in disputes arising between traders and merchants before Arbitral Tribunal of Cotton Association of India. She has series of judgements fortifying her credential as a legal luminary.
Considering her advisory experience in regulatory and compliance for Securities Laws, Mrs. Valanju is hands on in broking compliance and inspection related assignments.
